Bangladesh ranked 24th among the world’s largest agricultural economies in 2024, with an agricultural production value of around $34 billion, according to data from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
The figure accounted for about 0.6% of global agricultural output, which was valued at approximately $5.2 trillion in 2024.
China, India, the United States and Brazil dominated the global agricultural economy, collectively accounting for nearly 60% of total production value.
