A three-day Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 will be held in Dhaka to promote an innovation-driven economy and bring local and international innovators, researchers, educational institutions and industries together on a common platform.

The fair, organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology, will take place at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre from September 12 to 14, 2026.

Under the theme “Innovate to Market”, the fair aims to transform research and innovation into market-oriented products and services while creating an integrated ecosystem connecting innovators, industries, academics and other stakeholders. The initiative also seeks to contribute to Bangladesh’s ambition of building a trillion-dollar economy.

More than 150 innovative projects and products will be showcased at the fair, providing both young and experienced innovators with an opportunity to present their technologies and ideas.

More than 15 sessions and dialogues on technology and innovation across different sectors will also be held, featuring experts from relevant fields.

A dedicated “Innovation Hub” will serve as a platform for showcasing new ideas and technologies and facilitating networking among innovative ventures.

According to the organisers, more than 50 local and international universities are expected to participate in the fair. More than 50 industry experts will also attend to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
