The Junior Scholarship Examination 2026 will begin on December 8, according to the schedule announced by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Sunday (23 August).
The four-day examination will be held according to the following schedule:
December 8: Bangla
December 10: English
December 13: Mathematics
December 15: Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies
Exam Instructions
Candidates must take their seats in the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
The exams must be conducted according to the duration specified on the question papers. The Science and Bangladesh and Global Studies examinations will each be 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a total duration of three hours for the two subjects.
Candidates must collect their admit cards from their respective institution heads at least seven days before the examination begins.
Candidates must correctly enter and fill in their roll number, registration number, subject code and other required information on the OMR form. The answer sheet must not be folded under any circumstances.
Candidates may use calculators approved by the education board during the examination.
No one other than the centre secretary will be allowed to bring a mobile phone or other electronic devices into the examination centre.
