Gas supply to be off 16hrs in Gazipur, Tangail Tuesday

Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited will suspend gas supply for 16 hours in parts of Gazipur and Tangail on Tuesday to carry out pipeline tie-in works.

According to a notice, gas supply through pipelines from Joydebpur in Gazipur to Kumudini in Tangail will remain suspended from 8:00am to 12:00 midnight on July 7.

The shutdown will affect all industrial units, captive power plants and CNG stations connected to the pipelines in Joydebpur, Naojor, Itahata, Kodda, Konabari, Kashimpur, Mouchak, Shafipur, Chandra (Palli Bidyut), Kaliakair and Mirzapur areas under the Gazipur Division.

Consumers in adjacent areas may also experience low gas pressure during the maintenance period, the company said.

Titas Gas expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers.
