The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has directed all government hospitals to provide free NS1 tests for dengue diagnosis until December 31, 2026.
The directive was issued through a notification signed by Deputy Secretary Kazi Sharif Uddin Ahmed of the Health Services Division on Sunday.
According to the notice, all necessary measures should be taken to ensure that NS1 tests for dengue remain free at government hospitals until the end of the year.
The ministry has sent the directive to directors of medical college hospitals, civil surgeons, upazila health and family planning officers, and other relevant authorities across the country for implementation.
