UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Al Humoudi met Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office at Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday (September 28).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various aspects of Bangladesh-UAE bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on expanding trade and investment and creating more employment opportunities for skilled Bangladeshi workers in the UAE.
They also discussed strengthening cooperation in several sectors, including energy, infrastructure, aviation, information technology, railways and logistics.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs-1 Humayun Kabir and Investment Bangladesh Chairman Ashik Chowdhury attended the meeting.
Senior officials from the UAE Embassy were also present.
