Bangladesh’s Consul General in Miami, Seheli Sabrin, held a courtesy meeting with Digna Cabral, Vice Mayor of the City of Doral in South Florida, on Wednesday to explore ways to strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, and other key sectors.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed expanding collaboration in economic development, business, trade, investment, education, and cultural exchanges, reaffirming their commitment to fostering closer ties between Bangladesh and the City of Doral.
Seheli Sabrin highlighted the growing contributions of the Bangladeshi diaspora to Florida’s economy, education sector, and civic life. She also expressed appreciation to the local authorities for their continued support of the Bangladeshi community.
Vice Mayor Digna Cabral reaffirmed Doral’s commitment to working closely with the Bangladesh Consulate to deepen bilateral engagement, encourage trade and investment opportunities, and promote Bangladesh’s rich cultural heritage within the local community.
