The Supreme Court and all subordinate courts and tribunals across Bangladesh will remain closed for three days from October 20 to 22 on the occasion of Durga Puja.
Separate notices issued by the Supreme Court confirmed the holiday schedule.
Both divisions of the Supreme Court will suspend judicial proceedings during the period, while all subordinate courts and tribunals across the country will also remain closed.
However, Saturday, October 17, will be a working day for subordinate courts, while only administrative activities will continue at the Supreme Court.
The schedule follows a government notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on October 7, declaring holidays at government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices from October 20 to 22, with October 17 designated as a working day.
