Model and actress Ridhika Ridhi was found hanging from a ceiling fan at a residence in Dhaka’s Bashundhara Residential Area on Saturday morning.
Police said she was found around 6am and was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Her body was later sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
According to preliminary information provided by her family, Ridhi had been in a relationship with a man and had an argument with him over a video call shortly before her death.
Police are investigating the circumstances, and the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the autopsy and investigation.
Ridhika Ridhi worked as a model and appeared in several Bangladeshi television dramas, including Bohurupi, Double Honeymoon and Sundori.
