Bus set ablaze in Kadamtali

A bus of Shrabon Paribahan was set on fire by unidentified miscreants in the capital’s Kadamtali area early Tuesday.

The incident took place around 11:40pm on Monday near Matuail Medical, where the bus was parked, said Hasan Rahman, a sub-inspector of Kadamtali Police Station.

According to the police, the driver and helper had parked the bus around 11:20pm and left to have a meal.

When they returned, they found the vehicle engulfed in flames.

Police visited the scene after being informed and found the bus burnt.

The identities of those responsible for setting the bus on fire and their motive were not immediately known.
