Russian Flag Day celebrated in Bangladesh

The Russian Flag Day has been celebrated in Dhaka in befitting manner. The event, held on Sunday, was attended by journalists, Russian government scholarship recipients, students enrolled in Russian language courses, and guests from various professions.

The program began with the Russian national anthem. This was followed by discussions and a special presentation on the history and significance of the Russian national flag, as well as its evolution over time.

Students of Russian language courses actively participated in the event. They recited several Russian poems dedicated to the national flag, including “Flag of Russia,” “Russian Flag,” and “About the Color of the Flag.”

During the cultural segment, participants and students performed several popular Russian songs, including “Shirokaya Strana Moya Rodnaya,” “Katyusha,” “Kalinka,” and “Matushka.”
