We seek extradition of Hasina, Hadi killers from India: Khalilur

Bangladesh has urged India to expedite the extradition of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, who is currently in India after being sentenced to death for crimes against humanity.

Dhaka also requested the extradition of the alleged killers of Inqilab Mancha convener Osman Hadi, who are believed to be in India.

The requests were made during a courtesy meeting between Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi on Monday (August 10).

Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman briefed reporters on the matter at the Foreign Ministry following the Indian envoy’s meeting with the prime minister.
