US Ambassador to Bangladesh Brent Christensen has sampled some of Barishal’s traditional sweets, including rosogolla, malai chop and chhanar jilapi.
The US embassy in Dhaka shared the information in a Facebook post on Monday (August 10).
In the post, Christensen said he enjoyed the sweets from the traditional Sokal-Sondha Mishtanno Bhandar.
He also asked Bangladeshis which of the three sweets they preferred — rosogolla, malai chop or chhanar jilapi.
