The Bangladesh Bank has instructed all banks to verify the educational certificates of their officials at every level by March next year.
The directive requires banks to authenticate the academic credentials submitted by their employees as part of efforts to ensure transparency and prevent the use of forged or fraudulent certificates.
Banks have been asked to complete the verification process within the stipulated deadline and take necessary action if any discrepancies are found.
