Admission test schedules for the 2026–27 academic year have been announced by seven public universities, including Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Jagannath University and Chittagong University.
Among them, admission tests at Dhaka University, Khulna University and the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) will be held in December this year. Tests at Rajshahi University, Jagannath University, Chittagong University and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) will take place in January and February 2027.
Dhaka University: Tests will begin on December 5 with the IBA unit. The ‘A’, ‘B’, Fine Arts and ‘C’ unit tests will be held on December 12, 19, 22 and 26, respectively. Applications will be accepted from November 11 to 25.
Rajshahi University: Tests will begin on January 8 with the ‘B’ unit, followed by the ‘C’ unit on January 9 and the ‘A’ unit on January 16. Preliminary applications will run from November 12 to 27. Tests will be held in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Chattogram, Sylhet and Mymensingh.
Jagannath University: Tests will begin on January 1, 2027, with the ‘A’ unit. The ‘E’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ unit tests will follow on January 8, 15, 22 and 23. Applications will be open from November 15 to December 10.
Chittagong University: Tests will start on January 29 with the ‘C’ unit. Other tests will be held through February 8. Applications will be accepted from November 15 to December 10. Some tests will be held at the university campus, while others will take place in Dhaka and Rajshahi.
Khulna University: Tests will be held on December 17 and 18. The ‘C’ and ‘D’ units will be tested on December 17, followed by the ‘A’ and ‘B’ units on December 18.
KUET: The first-year undergraduate admission test will be held on January 8 in Khulna, Dhaka and Rajshahi.
MIST: Admission tests will take place on December 18 and 19, with the ‘C’ unit on December 18 and the ‘A’ and ‘B’ units on December 19.
Students have been advised to follow the respective universities’ final admission circulars and official notices, as some schedules may be changed.
