The results of the first phase of online admission to Class XI for the 2026–27 academic year will be published today, Wednesday (September 16), at 8pm. The Dhaka Education Board said the results will be released simultaneously.
Students selected in the first phase must confirm their admission within the stipulated deadline. Otherwise, their selection and application will be considered cancelled.
According to board sources, online applications for Class XI admission began on September 2, with the deadline set for 8pm on September 13. Under the admission policy, students were allowed to choose a minimum of five and a maximum of 10 colleges in order of preference. A total of 995,234 students have applied for Class XI admission this year.
Students selected in the first phase must pay the prescribed fee and confirm their admission by 8pm on September 18. Failure to complete the confirmation process within the deadline will result in cancellation of the student’s selection and application.
The Dhaka Education Board published the Class XI admission policy on August 24. Although the deadline for general students to apply was initially set for 8pm on September 10, it was later extended. As a result, students whose SSC or equivalent examination results were changed following re-scrutiny were also given an opportunity to apply.
No selection or admission test is being held for Class XI admission this year. Students will be admitted to colleges based on their SSC and equivalent examination results.
Under the admission policy, 7 percent of the total Class XI seats will be reserved under various quotas. The remaining 93 percent of seats will be open to all students based on merit.
After students confirm their first-phase selection, the migration results according to their choice preferences will be published at 8pm on September 19. The Class XI admission process will continue from September 20 to 22, while classes are scheduled to begin on September 23.
How to Check the Result
To check the Class XI admission result, students must first visit the official Class XI admission website, xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
They then need to click on the “View Result” option on the homepage. Students will be required to enter their SSC or equivalent examination roll number, education board, year of passing and registration number.
After entering the captcha code displayed on the screen, students can click “Submit” to view their result. The result will show the college where the student has been selected for admission.
