The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to be published between October 25 and 29, Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman said on Monday.
Akhtaruzzaman, who also heads the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, said a proposal had been sent to the Ministry of Education to publish the results on any day within the five-day period.
The final date will be announced after the ministry’s approval.
The HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and ended on August 8.
However, adverse weather conditions delayed some written examinations under the Chattogram Education Board, with the board’s written tests concluding on September 9.
A total of 1,270,583 students from 9,439 educational institutions took part in this year’s examinations under 11 education boards.
The results are expected to be announced once the proposed schedule receives final approval from the ministry.
