Abul Khayer Mohammad Hafizullah Khan, a joint secretary at the Local Government Division, has been appointed director general of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday night.
In a separate notification, the incumbent PMO Director General Dr Ahmed Ullah was transferred to the Commerce Ministry as an additional secretary.
In another order, Joint Secretary Md Hussain Shawkat was transferred from the post of director at the Khulna regional office of the Directorate of Technical Education to deputy registrar general at the Office of the Registrar General of Birth and Death Registration. He had previously been ordered to join as a member of the National Housing Authority.
Meanwhile, Joint Secretary Muhammad Ashraf Hossain, who was attached to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, was transferred to the National Housing Authority as a member.
