The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has issued a special circular for the 51st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination, with applications set to open on October 1.
The special BCS will recruit 5,000 doctors, according to the circular issued on Thursday.
Of the total posts, 4,700 are for assistant surgeons, while the remaining 300 are for dental surgeons.
The recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening the country’s public healthcare services.
