Advance bookings have opened across cinemas for Batwara 1947, the upcoming Aamir Khan Productions film set against the backdrop of the Partition of India, ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 14.
The film stars Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol and Preity G Zinta in the lead roles and explores themes of humanity, sacrifice, courage and resilience during one of the most turbulent periods in the subcontinent’s history.
The teaser, trailer and songs released ahead of the film’s theatrical debut have already offered audiences a glimpse of its narrative and characters.
