Misbah Arshad has been crowned ‘Miss Universe Pakistan 2026’at a grand ceremony held in the Philippines. She becomes the fourth Pakistani woman to represent her country at the upcoming international Miss Universe pageant.
At the event, Josh Yugen, owner of the Miss Universe Pakistan franchise, placed the official sash on the new winner, while her predecessor, Roma Riaz, crowned her.
The psychology student won over the judges with an impressive response during the final question-and-answer round. Filipino singer and actor Bailey May asked her: If her 10-year-old and 80-year-old selves were to meet in the same room, whose question would be harder to answer?
Misbah replied that her 10-year-old self would ask the more difficult question because she would want to know what her life had been like as she grew older.
She said, “I would tell my childhood self that I have failed many times in life, but each time I have risen again. It is a beautiful cycle of life that should not only be accepted but also enjoyed. Because the hotter the fire, the purer the gold.”
