Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel has dismissed speculation that she is dating Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya after a video of the two together went viral on social media.
The rumours began after a clip showed Patel introducing Pandya to some friends at a gathering at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Palace. An X user interpreted a friendly gesture between the two as evidence of a romantic relationship.
Patel responded sarcastically on Instagram Stories, rejecting the suggestion that there was anything romantic about the interaction. She also criticised the user for reading too much into a casual moment between friends.
The actress’s response effectively shut down the latest dating speculation surrounding her and Pandya.
