American actress Kely Hottle, who gained international recognition at a young age for breaking barriers as a deaf performer, has died in a tragic road accident in the US state of Maryland. She was 18.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Hottle was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning. According to investigators, the vehicle lost control before crashing, leaving Hottle fatally injured at the scene.
Three people, including the driver, were in the car at the time of the accident. Hottle was the only occupant who died. The 19-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and is reported to be in stable condition.
