Saudi Arabia to offer all-in-one Hajj package

29 September 2026 20:03 Updated: 29 September 2026 20:03

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced plans to introduce an integrated package for foreign pilgrims during the 2027 Hajj season, bringing essential pilgrimage services under a single electronic contract.

The package will cover services from pilgrims’ arrival in Saudi Arabia until their departure for home. It will be offered through an electronic platform and include four main services: arrangements at the holy sites, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, transportation and meals. Pilgrims will also have the option of adding extra services.

The ministry said the system would allow foreign Hajj offices and relevant organisations to tailor programmes for different categories of pilgrims while operating under a standard but flexible contractual framework.

The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season and is aligned with the country’s Vision 2030 and efforts to improve pilgrims’ overall experience.

The ministry has already begun preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season. As part of the process, it is holding meetings with representatives of Hajj offices from more than 75 countries to review operational plans, regulations and requirements.

Saudi Arabia has also expanded its digital infrastructure for Hajj management in recent years. Its electronic platforms have brought contracts, operational procedures and visa-related processes under an integrated system aimed at improving coordination between pilgrims and service providers.
