Five people died of dengue and 1,935 new patients were hospitalised across Bangladesh in the 24 hours to 8am, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest figures reflect the continued worsening of the dengue outbreak in the country.
The number of dengue deaths and hospital admissions has risen sharply in recent weeks, with September recording the highest monthly death toll so far this year.
The DGHS has urged people to eliminate stagnant water and take preventive measures against Aedes mosquito breeding.
Recent rainfall and favourable weather conditions have contributed to the spread of dengue.
The country has been witnessing a surge in dengue infections since the middle of the year, putting additional pressure on hospitals and healthcare facilities.
