The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested two retired Army officers in connection with cases filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act and the Cyber Security Act.
The arrestees are retired Lieutenant Gulshan Ara and retired Lieutenant Colonel Debashish, who was allegedly linked to Ara, according to police.
Additional Police Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mohammad Shafiqul Islam confirmed the arrests on Monday (October 12).
