Crimes Against Humanity: Verdict against Inu due today, to be broadcast live

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 is set to deliver its verdict today in the crimes against humanity case against Hasanul Haq Inu over his alleged role in atrocities committed during the July 2024 mass uprising.

The verdict will be pronounced at 1:30pm on Tuesday (June 30) by a three-member bench of the tribunal, headed by Chairman Nazrul Islam Chowdhury. The other members of the bench are Justice Md Manjurul Bachid and Justice Nur Mohammad Shahriar Kabir.

The proceedings will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV). Prosecutor Gazi M H Tamim said the live telecast will be subject to the tribunal’s approval.
