Chattogram: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari in Fatichhari of the district. During the meeting, the prime minister warmly embraced the Hefazat chief.
The prime minister arrived by helicopter at Pelagazi C&B Field in Paindong Union of Fatikchhari at around 3:20pm. He then traveled by road to Al-Jamiatul Islamia Babunagar Madrasa.
Upon his arrival at the madrasa, Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh Ameer Allama Shah Muhibbullah Babunagari, along with his son and Central Naib-e-Ameer Maulana Ayub Babunagari, welcomed the prime minister.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman embraced the Hefazat chief, creating a warm and cordial atmosphere between the two. The prime minister exchanged greetings with Babunagari and inquired about his health.
Meanwhile, the area surrounding Babunagar Madrasa had been bustling with a festive atmosphere since morning ahead of the prime minister’s visit. Local leaders and activists, religious scholars, and members of the public showed considerable interest in the meeting.
