President Hafiz Uddin Ahmad has summoned the third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad for August 27.
The session will begin at 3:00pm in the Parliament Chamber of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
Director of the Public Relations Wing-1 of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, Monir Hossain, signed the press release. The session has been convened under the authority granted to the President by Article 72(1) of the Constitution of Bangladesh.
It will be the third session of the 13th Parliament and the third parliamentary session of 2026. According to the parliamentary secretariat, the President has exercised his constitutional powers to summon the session at 3:00pm on August 27.
The upcoming session is expected to take up legislative and other parliamentary business in accordance with the agenda to be set by the House.
