Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman on Tuesday joined the Revenue Conference 2026 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
He attended the conference as the chief guest in the morning, said Zahidul Islam Rony, Deputy Press Secretary-1 to the Prime Minister.
The conference is being jointly organised by the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance and the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
The conference is discussing ways to boost revenue collection, improve tax administration and ensure adequate revenue mobilisation to support the country’s economic needs.
Senior NBR officials and other relevant officials are attending the conference.
