Govt Ideal School and College has transferred 43 teachers in a move aimed at improving teaching quality and addressing subject-wise staffing shortages.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the school’s governing committee on 22 August, with the authorities citing the need to enhance teaching standards and ensure greater academic efficiency.
The transferred teachers have been reassigned among the institution’s Bangla- and English-medium campuses in Banasree, Mugda and Motijheel.
The transfers were also made to address shortages in specific subjects and improve coordination among the campuses.
