Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hassan Mahmood Tuku has been admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute in Dhaka.
He was taken to the hospital’s emergency department at around 10:30pm on Tuesday and was later shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), hospital officials confirmed.
Further details about his health condition were not immediately available.
A ministry official said Tuku had been suffering from fever for two days and had been unable to attend office on Monday and Tuesday.
