Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today (September 3) attended a programme marking Janmashtami at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
The programme began at 10am, where the prime minister exchanged greetings with prominent members of the Hindu community and distributed honorariums among priests and temple caretakers.
Tarique Rahman walked from his office at the Bangladesh Secretariat to the Osmani Memorial Auditorium to attend the event.
