Three key positions at the top level of Bangladesh Railway have been reshuffled, including the posts of additional director general (development), additional director general (infrastructure), and general manager of the Chattogram East Zone.
The changes were announced in a notification issued by the Administration Division of the Ministry of Railways on Thursday (September 3), signed by Deputy Secretary Kamrul Hasan.
According to the notification, Md Subaktagin, currently serving as general manager (additional charge) of the Chattogram East Zone, has been appointed additional director general (infrastructure) at Rail Bhaban in Dhaka.
Mamunul Islam, currently serving as additional director general (development) on additional charge, has been appointed general manager (additional charge) of the Chattogram East Zone.
Meanwhile, Al Fattah Md Masudur Rahman, currently serving as additional director general (infrastructure) on additional charge, has been appointed additional director general (development) on additional charge.
Alongside his new post, Al Fattah Md Masudur Rahman will also serve as project director of the Jamuna Bridge Rail Link Project as an additional responsibility.
The notification said the order, issued in the public interest, would take immediate effect.
