Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 have arrested an alleged drug-dealing couple along with 353 bottles of banned narcotics during a drive in Thakurgaon.
According to a press release, a team from RAB-13’s Dinajpur Camp conducted a raid early Tuesday in Purbaparpugi village under Sadar Police Station, acting on a tip-off.
During the operation, they searched a house and seized 183 bottles of phensedyl, 117 bottles of phensedyl-like Eskuf, and 13 bottles of MKdyl syrup.
The couple—identified as Md Korban Ali, 41, son of the late Abul Khair, and his wife Jasmine Khatun, 27—were arrested at the scene around 3:30am.
RAB officials said a case has been filed against the couple, and they have been handed over to Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station along with the seized drugs for further legal action.
