Former US President Joe Biden’s prostate cancer has progressed beyond his bones and is causing him significant pain, his son Hunter Biden said in a BBC interview, according to Reuters.
Hunter said his father is dealing with a serious progression of the disease. Biden was diagnosed with prostate cancer in May 2025 after experiencing urinary symptoms. His doctors said at the time that the cancer had already metastasised to his bones.

Biden, 83, left office in January 2025 after serving as US president from 2021 to 2025. He ended his 2024 re-election campaign in July 2024 and was succeeded by Donald Trump.
