Australia women’s cricket captain Sophie Molineux has warned her team not to underestimate Bangladesh ahead of their three-match ODI series in October.

Speaking to Digen Sports, Molineux said cricket was an unpredictable game and that anything could happen on any given day.

She said the Australian men’s recent experience against Bangladesh should serve as a warning for the women’s team.

Referring to the recent Test series between Australia and Bangladesh, Molineux said the contests were highly competitive and attracted significant interest in both countries.

She expressed hope that the upcoming women’s ODI series would also produce an exciting contest.

The three ODIs are scheduled to be played in Brisbane on October 9, 11 and 14.

Molineux said the series would be an important and exciting challenge for both sides.
