National bodybuilding competition to be held next month

The National Bodybuilding and Men’s Physique Competition, organised by the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation, will be held from November 26 to 28 at the National Sports Council auditorium in the capital.

The bodybuilding competition will feature several weight categories: up to 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and 85kg, as well as the over-80kg category. Other events will include the Masters Class for participants aged 40 and above and adaptive bodybuilding for athletes with disabilities.

The men’s physique events will feature three categories: up to 168cm, above 168cm and Muscular Men’s Physique (open).

The federation has urged interested athletes from clubs, district sports associations, services teams and universities to prepare for the competition.
