A three-day international tourism fair aimed at connecting Bangladesh’s tourism businesses with the global market through digital appointments and business-to-business (B2B) networking ends today (Saturday) at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka.
Organised by the Bangladesh Outbound Tour Operators Association (BOTOA), Bangladesh Travel Mart (BTM) 2026 began on September 3.
A key feature of the fair is a pre-scheduled digital meeting system that allows buyers and sellers to arrange appointments online with their preferred business partners.
Organisers said the system has made B2B interactions more structured and is helping participants build long-term business relationships.
Around 100 local and international organisations are participating as exhibitors, while BOTOA expects about 60 trade buyers and nearly 15,000 visitors to attend the fair.
Tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, hotels, resorts and destination management companies are showcasing visa processing services, flight bookings, domestic and international tour packages and travel discounts.
The fair also offers business-to-consumer (B2C) services, allowing visitors to compare travel packages, services and prices directly with exhibitors.
BOTOA President Syed Gholam Mohammad said the platform was directly connecting Bangladesh’s tourism sector with the global market and could create new investment opportunities in aviation and hospitality.
BOTOA Secretary General Md Shariful Islam Sharif said the online appointment-based format had been introduced to ensure international-standard B2B meetings and digital networking.
Organisers expect increased participation from visitors and industry professionals on the final day.
