LafargeHolcim Bangladesh PLC (LHB) has earned further recognition for its sustainability efforts, winning an award in the ‘Most Sustainable Energy Initiative of the Year’ category at the SDG Brand Champion Awards 2026.
Organised by the Bangladesh Brand Forum, the annual awards recognise organisations that demonstrate outstanding leadership in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative and responsible business practices.
LHB received the honour for the work of Geocycle, its sustainable waste management arm, which promotes a circular economy by converting waste into alternative resources and supporting environmentally responsible industrial operations.
The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Tamrin Chowdhury, Business Development Manager of Geocycle, at the awards ceremony.
