DHAKA: Light rain is likely in parts of five divisions, including Dhaka, while temperatures across the country may fall by 1–2 degrees Celsius, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The sky over Dhaka and its adjoining areas may remain partly cloudy, with occasional periods of cloudiness. Light rain is possible at one or two places in Dhaka division. Winds may blow from the north or northwest at a speed of 10–15 kilometres per hour.

In its 120-hour weather forecast issued on Wednesday (November 4), the BMD said light rain could occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions during the 24 hours from 6pm on Wednesday.
Elsewhere, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry, with partly cloudy skies.
The BMD also forecast a fall of 1–2 degrees Celsius in both day and night temperatures across the country.
Dhaka recorded a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius with 71 per cent humidity on Thursday morning. The maximum temperature in the capital was 31.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
