Four people, including drivers and helpers, were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks in Bogura’s Kahalu upazila on Saturday morning.
The accident occurred around 9:45am in the Kazipara Boubazar area along the Naogaon–Bogura highway.
Confirming the incident, Kahalu Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shafiqul Islam said one of the vehicles was a mini truck while the other was a larger truck. “All four killed were drivers and helpers of the two vehicles, and they died on the spot,” he said.
Police rushed to the scene after receiving the news, while members of the fire service began efforts to recover the bodies from the accident spot.
Authorities said the identities of the victims have yet to be confirmed, and the bodies remained at the scene at the time of reporting.
