A major surprise is in store for television viewers as Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is set to take over as the host of the popular crime-based reality show Crime Patrol, replacing its longtime presenter Anup Soni.
He has already completed filming for the first 15 episodes of the show’s new season. According to Indian media reports, Ajay Devgn, known for films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, has joined the television world after stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
However, whether Devgn will continue as the permanent host of Crime Patrol will depend on audience response and ratings. If the first 15 episodes receive a positive response, he is expected to continue presenting the gripping crime show.
Devgn had earlier sparked curiosity among his fans by sharing a mysterious teaser video on his Instagram account. In the video, he said, “Sometimes, certain incidents shake us from within.
Today, I have come across such a truth that has left me speechless. I will bring it before you very soon.” Although he did not make a direct announcement at the time, it has now become clear that the video was part of the promotional campaign for Crime Patrol.
