Gazipur, Khulna and Kushtia get new SPs

New police superintendents (SPs) have been appointed to Gazipur, Khulna and Kushtia districts, while the SPs of the three districts have been transferred to the Highway Police and Armed Police Battalion (APBn).

The appointments were announced in a notification issued by the Home Ministry on Wednesday (August 12), signed by Deputy Secretary Tousif Ahmed.

Kushtia District SP Mohammad Jasim Uddin has been appointed SP of Gazipur, Government Omar Faruk of the Police Staff College has been appointed SP of Khulna, and Mohammad Aminul Islam, SP at the Sylhet DIG Range Office, has been appointed SP of Kushtia.

Meanwhile, Gazipur SP Mohammad Sharif Uddin and Narayanganj SP Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Munsi have been transferred to the Highway Police, while Khulna SP Mohammad Tajul Islam has been transferred to the APBn.
