Despite the heavy defeat in the second Test, Bangladesh finished the two-match series level at 1-1.
Returning to Australian soil for a Test series after 23 years, Bangladesh can still take pride in the historic achievement of drawing the series.
Their emphatic defeat in Mackay notwithstanding, the 1-1 result will remain a landmark accomplishment in the country’s Test cricket history.
