Yash’s upcoming action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is generating strong interest ahead of its theatrical release, with advance bookings already pushing the film’s opening-day collections towards the Rs 30 crore mark.

The film has grossed Rs 18.84 crore from more than 4.73 lakh tickets sold across 12,609 domestic shows, according to a report by Sacnilk. The Kannada and Hindi versions are leading the pre-release business, contributing Rs 9.6 crore and Rs 7.72 crore, respectively, through their 2D screenings. Premium formats, including Kannada IMAX and 4DX, have also contributed to the total.

Toxic’s Day 1 advance booking gross has reached Rs 27.38 crore, including blocked seats. If the current momentum continues, the film is expected to comfortably cross the Rs 30 crore mark before its release.

Karnataka is the strongest market for the film, recording Rs 10.69 crore from 1,744 shows. The state has also reported 742 nearly full shows, three days ahead of the film’s release.

Gujarat has the highest number of shows at 2,319, followed by Maharashtra with 2,189. However, their advance booking collections are comparatively lower at Rs 1.17 crore and Rs 1.33 crore, respectively.

West Bengal, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are also contributing to the film’s pre-release business, with advance collections of Rs 89.51 lakh, Rs 87.92 lakh and Rs 80.29 lakh, respectively.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth.
