The price of gold has fallen further in Bangladesh, following another downward revision by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS).
According to the latest BAJUS rate, 22-carat gold is currently priced at Tk 235,146 per bhori (11.664 grams), or Tk 20,160 per gram.
The current rate also puts 21-carat gold at Tk 224,590 per bhori and 18-carat gold at Tk 192,864 per bhori.
Gold prices in the local market have undergone frequent revisions this year, reflecting changes in the international bullion market, the exchange rate and domestic market conditions.
The latest rates are applicable to gold sold at jewellery shops, while making charges and applicable VAT may be added to the final price of ornaments.
