Senior military commanders from the United States, Israel and several Arab countries held a secret meeting in Germany last week to discuss the ongoing war with Iran and broader regional security concerns, according to a report by Axios.
The meeting was reportedly hosted by the US Central Command (CENTCOM). The participants included CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper and Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt Gen Eyal Zamir, along with military chiefs from seven Arab countries.
The identities of all the Arab participants were not immediately disclosed.
The talks came amid continuing military confrontation with Iran and growing security concerns across the Middle East.
According to the reports, the commanders discussed the war with Iran as well as wider regional security issues.
The meeting also reportedly included discussions on threats posed by Iran and its regional allies, including the Houthis in Yemen.
However, there was no immediate indication that the participants reached any specific agreement or discussed particular military operations.
The reported gathering highlights increased military coordination between Israel, the United States and Arab states amid the expanding regional conflict.
