Flames and thick smoke were seen rising from an Aramco facility south of Riyadh on Saturday, according to an AFP journalist at the scene.
Fire engines were reportedly seen trying to extinguish the blaze, while ambulances and police vehicles were stationed nearby.
The circumstances surrounding the fire remained unclear, and there was no immediate confirmation from Saudi authorities or Saudi Aramco.
The incident comes amid escalating tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement, which has recently claimed attacks targeting Saudi cities and energy infrastructure.
On Saturday, the Houthis said they had targeted an Aramco facility in Riyadh with ballistic missiles and drones.
However, there was no immediate confirmation that the Riyadh fire was caused by a Houthi attack.
