Fire at Kashimpur RMG factory warehouse

GAZIPUR: A fire broke out at a warehouse storing cartons and yarn at Supreme Garments in West Shaildubi, Kashimpur, Gazipur this morning.

Police said eight Fire Service units are working to bring the blaze under control, while four more units are on their way to the scene.

Lina Khanam, duty officer at the Fire Service control room, said they received reports of the fire at 10:15am on Saturday. Two units reached the scene by 10:25am, followed by three more. Another three units subsequently arrived to assist with firefighting efforts.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been determined.
